Every single tree looked identical to the rest. As Henry, ran through the jungle, thumping his way on the damp soil. He seemed to arrive at the same place, no matter how much he kept on severing his different paths. His pace retarded into totters, he lost falter as he hopelessly wandered around the evergreen forest. His feet were burning him to the bones, his feet were no longer one with his mindset as they betrayed him. He had always come to love the nature. It was the thing that he loved, made him to suffer at the moment.
He was definitely doomed, he was lost. Completely lost in this complex vast ecosystem.
'ANYONE?! ANYONE OUT THER-!' His other responsible half stopped him short. For heaven's sake! What the hell was I pulling up? He scanned the horizon for any sign of any alarmed carnivorous attacker. He was able to convince himself, the reason to keep a low profile. He had already seen for around thousand times in movies and educational programs, that noxious carnivores, lay their eyes and ears open for fresh meat in thick jungles like this one. Among them the tiger was the most unpleasant beast.
The evergreen trees towered the soil, blocking the sunlight to enter. Birds were chirping away on the thin thick twisted branches , bearing a few leaves. The trees' body were quite cracked and clawed from the animals' presence and they also reeked of age. A few mongooses ran to a hole near the huge buttress roots of the forest's buildings. The jays were screeching away.
A few low leveled trees with distorted trunks, and a few thin weak branches, were by the corners of the jungle. Mushrooms grew under the shade of the skyscrapers. Henry was dazed by the opulence of the jungle. A few wild flowers dancing with euphony, were pulpy and suede. The wind deadened through the glades of the forest, the gentle grass dancing in union.
Henry couldn't think of anything, just what you would expect from a 12 old year boy. He just kept on panting, while his other half stayed alert. He had no tools with him to create a safety for the time being. He was totally bared from tools or extra type of materials.

Night was dawning on him so was cold, the light faded long ago allowing the darkness to come to life as shadows took place on the soil. The leaves and the patches of grass glimmered in the darkness as Henry sat, supported by a tree. Bitter wailing wind flew between his dark wavy hair while piercing his skin, only but making him feel the chill of darkness. Animals seemed to have come to life as keen eyes looked through the holes of the tree trunks. The spectral mist coiled around the skyscrapers' top , filtering the golden moonlight which happened to tend to drive the dancing shadows away. The stars looked like glittering asters preventing darkness from wrapping the sky.
Ruffling noise of alive feet resounded through the vast trees and leaves of the soul-enriching jungle, alarming Henry every few seconds. He survived the daytime hunting a few fruit bearing trees, with his bare hands by griming them to coal along with his blue fabric jeans. He also manage to come across some windfall apples, which tasted sweet as honey perking Henry. He somehow managed to spark a fire with the help of a few fallen branches. The fire in front of him crackled keeping the air alive with more sound.
He had walked on a few kilometers from his initial place during the light. He was looking for any exit for the moment as he wasn't much experienced in this 'survival stuff'. His tired eyes told him it was probably bedtime. But the crunching sounds of silhouettes of ghosts kept him alive from dozing off. The air around him was woody and smelt of peppermint and animal droppings.
Suddenly from darkness, over the blazing fire, a silent black silhouette leaped, right a few centimeters above Henry's head. Henry alarmed, along with his reflex, rolled himself over from his sitting position and jumped by using his hands as a springer on the ground, over the flames half somersaulting and half flying in the midair. The wind seemed to stop it's running track, as if it was watching a drama scene. Henry landed on the damp ground almost sliding, causing his right leg to limp in pain. His muscles ached from the sudden reflex action. The creature marked his claw on the tree's trunk, killing through Henry's aura only. The creature finally faced back to Henry, mad at his unexpected failure. The two were now just face to face, the fire blocking their path. The light finally gave out the creature's mysterious identity to being the renowned Tiger.
The creature's body little feral, elegant, glossy and sleek with powerful muscles pounding beats on the padded leg, which served as its powerhouse as well as making slinking movements with balletic grace. The muscles and ligaments were so well developed that it allowed him to pounce about 32 feet across. The undeniable, beautiful, graceful tiger wore a rich auburn gold coat with intense black stripes which ran across its width. The transverse black stripes followed to the tail from its head.
It's underside looked quite grayish to white, similar to the spot on the rear of its ears which served as false eyes. The golden coat allowed him to keep his pride and made him look the most indomitably courageous compared to the ghostly trees and the glimmering eyes from the tree trunks. The aura of failure an phantasmic lingered on near the tiger, as he smelled with his round quite convex pink like nose while his sharp thin white whiskers moved up and down on the convex, lumpy and dappled head.
It's glowing, feline, amber, chatoyant and smouldering eyes examined his prey whole as he reached his apex on having his feast, calculating the angles like a high school student in contemplation. Its retractile claws dug deep in its alluvium war land. There was a sepulchral silence in the jungle as everything stopped their activities to see the act of death.
Henry stood in place, frozen with horror, glued to the soil, marking his grave as he saw the pitiless and remorseless creature leap in dramatic air with coiled and reserved energy for the second time over the blazing wild flames, lightening its golden coat with respect.
Henry flowed down tears from his corners of his susceptible eyes, which felt lukewarm against his dry skin as the tiger pounced on him, pinning him to the ground. A husky grunt is all he could release from his lips as the tiger releasing its savage personality, lacerating flesh away from Henry's chest, revealing skully ribcage and the dragging beats of the heart.
Henry was already dead when the tiger opened his mouth to release vamparish carnivore teeth, which dug deep into Henry's throat. Fountains of oozy silky blood, which filled the creature's mouth with everlasting complacency and sweet harmony. The tiger swallowed more human flesh enjoying his feast as if he was in heaven, shadows dancing here and there on his prideful coat. His eyes gleaming with excitement beyond explanations. The chilly wind stopped to pay a respect to the tiger as if he became the lord of the jungle.
The tiger finally with his head held high left the bloody dismembered mess of Henry on the feast table to rest in the middle of nowhere, and prowled into the jungle in his festive mood to have another pleasant dinner, yet without any much complexity and fuss. The lustrous asters lighting its path and banishing all the despair and gloominess fostered by the eerie darkness as the shaggy heads of the distorted trees filtered, allowing sparks of light the remote incandescent luminous bodies emitted.
He was definitely doomed, he was lost. Completely lost in this complex vast ecosystem.
